Strange vapour trail?

I spotted this in the sky this morning.If it's a vapour trail where is the plane?I hope the link works,you can only see it when enlarged.

Looks like the plane was maybe going away from you over the trees. Was it windy? The wind may have blown the trail to look like that.

I`ve never seen a vapour trail like that. There must have been some strange winds up there. The plane has gone over the trees by the look of it.

No, it was a very still frosty morning squarebear.It disappeared quite quickly behind the trees.

polly it can be a still morning on the ground but very windy at 35000 ft.

it may be the remaining contrail from a plane. its probably dispersing as the morning sun is rising heating the atmosphere breaking the gasses up.
contrails/ vapours last long after the plane has gone.
