Shoe box appeal

Hi Erin. Only just seen your thread from last night.
My OH and I have been doing this for some years and two Christmas's ago I went to a children's hospice our church helps to support in Romania, to deliver some of the shoe boxes.
The looks on the children's faces when they open those boxes just melt your heart.
Re the suggestion for the teenage girl they all like some form of 'bling'. Even if it's a group of plastic bracelets or something like that.

Thank you for sharing that, Parkdale. I bet it was really special being able to go out there. I would love to do something like that but I think I would end up a blubbering mess! :-)

I was going to go with the jewellery idea. I'll get it on Saturday along with wrapping paper from the box. Every roll we have in the house only has a tiny bit on it! Lol!
