Christmas Decs Coming Down!

My Mum just asked me when am I taking the "trimmings" down. By that, she means Christmas decs.

I am thinking about doing it today. Is that too early? They are doing my head in. It looks *so* messy and cluttered. Grrr.

Hmmm, I was thinking the same thing as you Blue, they are really peeing me off, I haven't even put the outside lights on since Christmas Eve. If I try to take them done though, the kids will freak at me.

Last of our visitors left at 10.45 this morning, decs were all down and house back to normal by 12 :)

Pega, yeah, that's what Mother said. I'm not superstitious though :-)

RR, well, I've just made the suggestion to my son and, for the first time today, he actually looked up from his DS.... and said it's too early.
It just looks so blimmin messy in here.

New Years Day sounds like a good plan. I've got family coming round for dinner, though, so I wanted to preferably do it before then, so it looks all nice and tidy.

The last few years haven't been anything special so bad luck doesn't come into it for me.
Took mine down this morning just relaxing and then I will put them all back in the loft till next year.
The living room looks so much bigger and tidier.

Tony..Trego baubles are ones I have pasted Pete Trego's picture to and hung on the tree...though his wife might answer differently.

Blue..daughter left this morning and I can't quite work out how to switch it on. :-( will try tonight....before opening wine though.

I didn't really want to take them down, but as far as I'm concerned it's over now and no point in delaying it ... Soon be next Christmas (lol).

Ours always came down on Hogmany for the party but that hasn't happened for years... God knows when they come down now!

I'm just awake btw Bluey! It's a good job they switched the wifi off when they did! Lol!
