£20 Secret Santa
I need to buy the above for a young man. I always buy something useless but a bit of fun for Christmas Day entertainment.
I am looking at a Stylophone Beatbox.....the new one without the famous picture on the box.
Has anyone tried this?
Thanks...Gx

Shoota....I'd have to put that together first....too squiffy by the time we get to present opening.
Sloopy...our extended family is now so huge that buying for each other was a nightmare......There will be at least thirty of us together this year so one pressie each at £20 is fine....obviously close family do more on Christmas morning but this works well for the "all of us together do"....x

we bought for everyone even neighbours until 2 years past, I haven't even looked in the shops yet, so much has changed in our family, I dunno who's expecting what, apart from an older sister, she's a nanny to '3 darlings' and thinks we should all love them like she does, I do, but their's heirarchy in families and I as a gran aunt come way down the line. let santa do his job I think
For a long time now my family have used the Secret Santa route - all the names go into a box, they are picked out and matched up two at a time, and one person buys for the other name.(in secret) We always have an upper limit, usually £20, and there is also a list on the cupboard door on which we can write something if we would really like it. This means that each person spends only £20 on one present, and everyone is happy. In these times of hardship, it is a way to save money .
Thanks, Methyl. I always buy something gimicky that we call all have a go at during the evening.
I bought a remote control helicopter that took out the ceiling light last year and a flying saucer that turned into a duck with a dick the year before.
Just what we do, Jamesnan...with hints given to the organising Santa if we wish.....x
