Anything Mr fruit has asked me to make a list so he can choose something from it for my xmas present well I have been racking my brain all afternoon and although it sounds ungrateful I really dont need or want for anything we are not well off by any means but In this day and age theres not a lot we want for and it just makes me realise just how lucky we are.

thanks Daffy - I think that is going to have to be the boy! I was hoping for plastic and cheaper or even just cheaper but that is the shape and insulated. Two out of three ain't bad so thanks again x
Fruit, it's nice to hear that - we're in much the same position, we're trying to clear stuff out so really don't want any more "things". We tend to save any spare money by not buying things we don't need, and use it either to have a bit of a splash on holiday, or go somewhere we can't normally afford to (like Twickenham, or a special meal out). This year, we've bought each other a CD - one he spotted in an advert the other day, and the other from an artist I like. That's enough.
Barmaid, sorry didn't mean to be flippant. Thought the whole ring-thing was what you wanted. Sorry it hasn't worked out for you and hope you can sort it all out, x
Thanks Jeza I'll have a look at Tupperware too xxx

You never know what the future will bring - I lost my partner 16 years ago when I was 40 and now my mum and dad are both 86 and living with me as she has Alzheimers and he is just bonkers. Not the future I'd expected or dreamed of but what can you do ? Hope you and Mic have the best christmas possible xxx
Thought of something else which may appeal to you both.....a murder mystery evening if there's one anywhere in your area.
Sherr - no I didnt think you were being flippant, not at all. No worries. Just a long and painful story. I'll "do" Christmas, mainly for the sake of Master BM and then we part. And Anne - he HAS been told. Several times.
BM - not sure what to say, but here it is (())
lol Boxy, is that the fekking big hole he dug himself?!!!!!!!!!! lol
barmaid, good luck to you both.
Sorry to hear it hasn't worked out for you though, I have enjoyed your posts about your semi step-son, x
Barmaid I'm gutted for you. Although I don't see all your posts I thought you were both happy and planning a future together.
i'm sure this isn't a decision taken lightly BM. all best wishes to you and i hope the future is brighter.
Hi BM, I guess you're going to be looking at putting your name on the waiting list for a nice little Merc with a '14 reg to cheer yourself up in the new year... Leather seats, aircon, automatic roof etc etc (not that I would know I'm still driving my Fiat Panda) xxx
sorry to hear it, Barmaid, and good luck. You're smart enough to know your own mind.
Barmaid - I hope that your young lad ASBO won't be too traumatised by the change of territory. I wish you and your non-human family well, and also best of luck with your "nearly" stepson.
