And if you think it's hard to read, just try typing it. Really must learn how to cut and paste:-)
Teechers tel us it's important, tsnt.
Now if you can work out the winner of the Irish National......
Easier than some posts
I'm a bit worried....I read the above as quickly as if it were "normal".
Broadly, if the first and last letters of a long word are in the right place, the vowels will tell you what the word is.
No problem reading that for me, that's how we spake in the Black Country anyhoo.

Crikey me too.I am quite an accurate speed reader. My wife often comments how quickly I read a book and retain the story in entirety afterwards .

Perhaps I worked at Bletchley Park in another life. :-)
I could read that easy.... Mind you I can read Pete Ped, and understand his posts. Chin chin ped.
I can also read it very easily, but that is probably due to a lifetime of reading normally and an adaptable mind. Yes, spelling remains important so that everyone starts with a common background.
Oh yes, spelling matters: if you think power is spelt pour, then seeing pwoer in the OP will convey nothing to you.
Soooo what we saying here is that.......dyslexics are sramt rhgit?

Baldric and Gromit; obviously, if i'd seen any of those archaic posts you offer a link to, i would not have bothered with mine. Not as if i was duplicating a post from yesterday, is it?
Don't let 'em get you down, Ken!

If you really need to know how to copy and paste:

1. Hold down your left mouse button while dragging your cursor over the relevant text. (That will highlight it).

2. Right-click and select 'Copy'.

3. Go to where you want the text to appear, right-click and select 'Paste'.

Job done! Easy peasy!
And, for speed freaks, that is (PC keyboard shortcuts) :-
(with text passage highlighted by left-click & drag:-
Ctrl+C to copy
Ctrl+V to paste

where '+' means hold down Ctrl key while depressing the second key.

2 seconds to do, half a minute to explain. That's computer skills for you. :)

Ken,
I wasn't having a dig. Thought upu might appreciate the previoys answers.
It is an interesting thing and worth being reminded of it every couple of years.
@Gromit

It's a situation almost as old as the internet: someone comes to a forum, itching to ask "their" question and, as their first ever experience of that forum gets challenged with requests to read the "frequently asked questions" (FAQ), first, then search previous threads, second, before pressing ahead with a new thread.

As we are the answerBANK, not "Answer the question with my username at the top, please" you'd expect us to err on the side of being intolerant of 'repeats'. Sadly, the forum software only finds and presents us with "related threads" after the event, not at the drafting stage.

Of course it would deter users, strongly, to have a setup whereby the opening post edit box only becomes 'armed' after the chosen thread title produces 0 results, in a search routine.

* …their first experience of that forum (comma) gets challenged…
