I understand its not for everyone.
I looooooove Christmas! But I do understand that people get fed up with it starting in September.

It's can also be a very difficult time for some - financially, emotionally and mentally.
*It can*

Cannot wait!! the anticipation oooh.
Not until after Thanksgiving are Rudolf, the fat one and his mobile venison, and the angels, and all the other dubious characters including Noddy Holder or Graeme Norton, allowed out.

Dt , you forgot to say ... humbug!! ;0)
Just starting Christmas shopping tomorrow in Scarborough - anyone for coffee at 3? I've been buying odds and ends all year. Going on my own 'cos OH seems to be allergic. I love it! I don't love the commercialism, loathe that.

We are rehearsing for a Candlelight Carol Service right now - it will be visually and (I hope) musically gorgeous, with heavily decorated real tree and crib scene. Possibly nativity enatment
Around this time of the year,I want it to go away.
Bring it on :-)

Being in school again, for two days a week, is lovely in the run up to Christmas. All those rehearsals for the Christmas concert and the Nativity play...the children are so excited.

One of my readers is the narrator...he's so proud of that.
Only outside of the traditional 12 days.
I agree og. It's lost all it's meaning now.
I like the day itself because I usually see my sister for the about the only time in the year. I find all the present-buying and food-shopping a bit of a chore and hate going round the shops.
