Anyone Else Not Feeling Xmas This Year??
52 Answers
I usually LOVE Xmas - tree is always up 1st Saturday in December, decorations everywhere, presents bought and wrapped already, cards posted etc etc...... all the Xmas films on etc etc......
But this year all I’ve done so far this year is buy the tree! Haven’t written a single card, bought a scrap of food, nothing. Is it just me?? Am not in the festive mood at all.

i have sent out cards and gifts, so i guess i am ahead of you on that score...
don't fret it will come together.

I don't think that I've felt really 'Christmassy' for several decades but I've still managed to get most of my Christmas presents wrapped and posted and I should have got the cards done by Monday.
I usually plan to do lots of things over the Christmas period (even if it's just to watch lots of old movies) but, when the time comes, I never really seem to be in the mood. For example, last year I bought the Christmas double-issue of the Radio Times as soon as it came out (as I always do) but ended up watching just 10 minutes of a single programme (before turning it off as rubbish) during the whole fortnight - unless you count Jool's Holland's Hootenanny on New Year's eve, which I'd have watched anyway.

I'm not at all... for the first time. My granddaughter has her 4th birthday Christmas day, so I have sorted hers for both. Maybe because all my children are pretty much adults now... or because my dog would eat a Christmas tree if I attempted one. I used to make so much time and effort when my children were small, but now I am voting for a year off :-)
