I’m pleased to say, I can’t imagine sitting dining Al fresco like they must in the Southern hemisphere , I’m hoping for a white Christmas but my thoughts turn to the homeless and that’s not such a good idea after all ,
I’m in a great mood my lovely grandson has just rang to say he’s passed his theory test for driving, bring on his test now

I prefer it cold for Christmas too, but not only do I think about the homeless, I also think about dogs and cats who are unwanted and left out in the cold. I don't think it will snow here.

Well done to your Grandson x

I think I have the best son in law in the whole wide world but then I’m bias :0)
Long waiting lists for driving tests Bobbie, up to 6 months in some areas, average about 15 weeks
brr. I've had Christmas on a beach, and it's way better than huddling round a sherry

Yes Margo, seems that way , his age group were the ones to lose out on their school graduation too
TBH, I was gonna ring Boris and ask him to move Christmas to August. I can’t be doing with this Covid nonsense every winter, as will be likely.

And I’ll be honest Rocky, I doubt he’ll be there in Summer to carry it through, I just hope that every will see their families and those they love, an imminent lock down is the time to get grumpy , let’s enjoy it and soak it up x

Another thread another time !!!
A young lad crashed into the back of me at a roundabout - one week after he had passed his test on his 17th birthday!
Looks like the snow is coming on Boxing Day or the Monday after. That theory test is not to be taken lightly Bobbi. I remember both mine doing it and the later one was pretty intense. Most "learners" are more wary of the theory than the actual practical test. Well done that man.

Thanks Togo, he’s thrilled to bits
