Are We Heading Towards Another...
Politics1 min ago
to see Sister today when a lady followed me into the car park and said that there were like flaps collapsed under front of my car.
I thanked her for pointing it to me but can I say I never heard of flaps under all the jalopies I have had over the years.
I went home quite late after hospital and found out that because my newish car had been covered by the seller's breakdown - it had expired and so wasn't covered. Luckily I was at home. My neighbour's daughter and her boyfriend came over and looked at the flaps and said God Jenny that is a very common thing - it is flaps to keep out the dirt and dust from underneath. I never heard of them.
I will add breakdown service to my insurance company on Monday but in the meantime should I bring my car to my local garage to get these flaps put up again. What the hell are they.
Thanks for any advice.

This cover needs to be removed for eg, oil changes, so is held in place with removable clips. It could be that a couple of the clips have come astray on your car and need to be replaced. It should be a cheap job your local garage could do whilst you wait.
