Food temptations at Crimbo!!!
4 Answers
Arrggghhh... Ok so xmas is fast approaching and now i can virtually see my healthy eating going down the drain. I'm not on a diet just try to eat well, but i am beginning to panic about the temptation of all the yummy goodies i am going to be surrounded by. Chocs, sweets, cakes ,buffets and not to mention alcohol, as i will be off work for over week so there will be plenty of drinking ot be done. How do i control myself and does anyone else panic about the different food or is it just me? I know everyone gains a little weight at xmas so why don't i just accept it and enjoy myself...? Can anyone offer nay advice??xxx

Whatever you have don't feel the need to eat all of it, I found that once I have to do that 'deep breath' to fit more in then I've obviously had enough. lol
I won't be giving into temptation over Christmas, I've wanted to lose a few pounds for a while now and now that I have I'm in no hurry to gain it all again for the sake of a couple of days in December!

Or if you really must indulge (as most people do) find substitutes, such as diabetic chocolate (which is sugar-free) and fruit such as lychees which are in season at the moment and are available at most supermarkets. These are particularly good because they taste *exactly* like turkish delight, but without the calories!
