lots of places have got christmas items like mugs, which are always useful. or a little picture frame, something from Thorntons - maybe personalised ?

I have to do the same each year but it is for a group of woman and we number the gifts and then pick a number out of a hat. We are only allowed to spend �5. This year I have bought from Woolworths, a basket pot which has everything in it for growing your own hyacinths. It cost �4.99.
Not met anyone yet who dislikes the smell of Hyacinths :o)
There's quite a few good items in Woolies.

I had the same problem with a secret santa present and i just got a lovely flip flop necklace on ebay for �4.99 (free P+P) mind you she DOES love flip flops. Good luck
