Christmas Eve better for boozing than New Years Eve? Discuss!
I think New Years Eve can be a bit of an anti climax really. Taxi's are more expensive too!
Only problem with Christmas Eve is you hangover the next day and that you could always stand the chance of throwing up over your Christmas dinner.
What do you guys think?

It's a bummer to feel cr*p on Christmas Day when there's are so many yummy thinks to eat and drink. New Years Day just a waste of time anyway and nothing happens so doesn't matter it you spend it sleeping off hangover.
If you really want to go for it on Christmas Eve just drink loads of water all day leading up to it to try and rehydrate.
Enjoy !!!

Christmas Eve is for gathering the family together and telling tales to children, especially ghost stories. They so look forward to Christmas Day that it is not right to be hungover and not join in the fun.The odd tipple does not go amiss. New Years Eve is for adults. THEN you can start serious drinking. Anyone not standing at 0600 on the 1st is an amateur. And, make it to the pub for opening time.
Happy Christmas everyone. And a Guid New Year, when it comes.

If you're not out of your teens yet, I'll forgive you; but any older than that and you ought to have learnt how to pace yourself by now! The general idea is to maintain yourself at the "whoo-hoo!!" stage and not reach the "Oh my god, I'm never doing this again!" stage.
My tip is always always always drink a pint of water before you go to bed after a bender (even if you don't feel like it) and if you still feel rubbish in the morning, a whole fizzy Vitamin C tablet in a tumbler of water often does the trick.
