What can I get my boyfriend for Christmas....??
Hi,
I am absolutely stumped....
I have no idea what to get my boyf for xmas..
Brief overview....
We live together, he is 35, hasn't got any actual hobbies or interests (god he sounds boring!) I am looking to spend up to about 350....
He is a plumber
We love eating out, drinking, going on holiday....
He keeps saying that I can get him an xbox 360.... but I want to think of something that he wont be expecting...
Please help
xx

I was in a similar boat and couldnt think of what to get mine and his parents had already got us a x box 360 as a joint gift so what to get.....
ended up getting him lots of gifts at the 40-50 quid mark. A mixture of things he would like and things that meant stuff to us.
Eg got him dvd set of series he likes, a few cds, 2 games he liked for the x box, buckaroo (an in joke), a beer making machine (half price on www.iwoot.com), a zorbing experience, a topr from the shop he buys from that i hate to show him i love him the way he is, and a room in the hotel we stayed in when we met.
just a few ideas and hope they help.

There's a very popular book on sale at the moment in the best seller list called The Dangerous Book for Boys. It's all about the tricks and activities which boys did in their leisure time years ago, but the word is that it isn't being bought for boys at all, but for their dads ! Maybe your boyfriend can read it and catch up on all the things he did (or didn't) do as a child. !
My Husband is very hard to buy for too. He doesn't never really want much and he does that much 'trading-in' of his x-box and PSP games etc that i keep out of that and save my money for other things! With having 3kids i'm on a bit tighter budget that you!!!!! I had trouble thinking of something unexpecte (ie not aftershave, clothes etc...) not so long ago when it was his birthday - so i took him on a minicruise to Amsterdam! He loved it, in fact he said it was probably the best present he has ever had!
P&O and DFDS have some great deals on at the minute...

Thank you all so much for your suggestions.....!!
Hammerhead - I have just reserved a premium system with Hard drive...an extra wireless controller..project gotham....xbox live and gears of war for collection tomorrow..... None of that means anything to me.... but I got it all for 279.99... which unless I have been well and truly sold to I think that is quite a good deal...?
I have told him that I am not getting him a games console, so hopefully he will be surprised....!!
Have a great Christmas xx
