I put mine up on Christmas Eve as it shrivels up if you put it up too early!

i did not put holly up but I more or less decorated bedpans with holly a week before Christmas. WhenI was on nightshift and a resident rang for a bedpan I dutifully appeared with a silver bedpan decorated all over the top with holly and red berries......the residents all laughed but the matron did not.
