To make your name bold I would have typed;
< B >Athley< /B > (but without the spaces)
It's a bit like brackets - if you forget to 'close brackets' - it affects all subsequent formatting in your answer.
Forget to do it when you post a question - and it affects all subsequent answers aswell! (I've done it before, too, as there is no 'preview' when posting a question)
To make something bold, type < B >bold< /B >
Italics, (as in everything here) is < I > italic < /I >
and underline is < U >underline< /U > though there must be no spaces between the < > of a 'tag'.
Note the ' / ' (stroke, forward slash) that "closes" each end tag aswell - this is what I, mibn and many others have accidentally left off when posting questions !!
See the faq's at the bottom for clearer instructions than my cider-fuelled witterings.....

Apart from all the 'very special' ones - I've bought all my general Christmas cards from Clintons for next year in the sales. Why pay full price when you can buy them at half price? The postage costs enough!
We've also been to a couple of shops today, including Hobby Craft & bought lots of bits & bobs in the sale for making Christmas & Birthday label/tags, etc. It's something we all enjoy doing, using different coloured shiny card, embroidery threads for the tags, stickers & special patterned scissors - not forgetting a good hole punch! Very therapautic!

(Hiya Brachi, you alright? Good christmas and stuff? BTW... saw My Life Story. Was brilliant. Have to say, I never did get the hand of all this italicy/bold/colour stuff... but then I did consider it something of a challenge setting the digibox up the other night. Pen, paper and books need to make a comeback).
Digi-me-box, China? Wass'a "digi-me-box"?
I did, however, get a new wireless for Christmas - it's a Dib-Dib-Dub one, which apparently means I can still listen to The Archers after they switch off Annie Log - whoever she is.
smudge, my dear, I still have this vision of you traipsing round the High Street in January-Sale-time, armed with various pointy, shiny, cardboard-based sale items.
I bet no-one stops-dead infront of you to gawp in a shop window - not unless they want a bargain-priced metallicised wood-pulp product inserted where the credit card don't swipe!
Where can I get one?
