hi i"m thinking of going on a cruise this xmas but dont like the fuddy duddy of dressing up for dinner any ideas please (and not too expencive ) around the med area as well
You don't have to dress up at all on many lines now. Lots of dining options and, if you don't wnat to, you needn't change out of your shorts during the whole cruise. Med is limited in December as there is little to see in Winter. Most of the ships are taken to the Caribbean for the Yanks to enjoy.
my mum went on 'ocean village' cruise which isn't a dressy up kinda thing and she really enjoyed it. don't know where she went though lol, but have a look out for it!
And before you take any cruise check out the reviews on http://www.cruisecritic.com. Halfway down the page there is a section called 'read members reviews' - find your ship and read what recent travellers have to say. Then click on the word 'Board's at the top of the page and select the cruise line to see what people are asking about. Click on the Ports of Call section to find out what to do in each place to visit. Warning - it is 99% driven by Americans so you have to take their questions and complaints with a pinch of salt! .....and it is horribly horribly addictive!
