Why can't delivery times be more specific?

I am bored waiting for a delivery and really want to go out, delivery time will be between 7am and 3pm. Grr. What are the chances it will come at 3pm and I've lost most of the day waiting for it!

It's called 'sod's law eash! I envisage it coming around lunch time - so you'll only have half a wasted day!

They should have been more specific, either 7-11am or 11-3pm. Maybe you should have asked them at the time you bought your goods

Saturday is a busy day for deliveries. Maybe make it in the week next time if you can. Hope it arrives soon!

The annoying thing is they tried delivering it in the week but because I work there was noone in to sign for it but when I ordered the items it didn't say it would need a signature so I thought the neighbours will take it in but nope. I now know if I order from that website again to get it delivered to my work address! I phoned to rearrange delivery and it was 'press 1 for this day and time' etc. No actual person to talk to!

Such a pain sara - surely they know the round they've got that day. I did have one company who would ring you when leaving the last drop to say how long they'd be. I have stuff which won't go through the letterbox delivered to work now, weekdays 9-5 as delivery instructions, then signed for or not, I know it won't be a problem.
