what was the favourite toy you got on Christmas morning..

Mine was a black doll , my mum knit her a lovely deep pink pull-ups and jumper, complete with a bonnett, I loved that doll!

A dolls house that my grandad had made for my mum when she was little which was then passed down to me as a Christmas present, had so many years playing with it!

I had a black doll one year, Primrose, must have been about 1962. one year my older sister and I came downstairs Christmas Morning very very early dragging yellow plastic dolls pushchairs behind us, I was only about 5 and the stairs were steep and we made a hell of a noise. I trapped my fingers in that bloody pushchair nearly every time i played with it grrr

from the day i remembred as a kid we open xmas pressie at midnight :-D and we still do it ha haa

I had a black dolly too, her name was Felicity, I can still remember her. The year I got my big walking dolly was exciting too (I've still got her, stored away in a box).

Got a bike bell in my stocking with a note saying 'sorry, couldn't afford a bike this year' and then went downstairs and got a bike!

I've got to the age where I might be mixing up birthday presents with Christmas ones. (My best birthday present was definitely, at the age of 11, a beautiful puppy).

However I think that my Scalextric set was a Christmas gift; that's definitely near to my list of all-time favourites. (It wasn't until several years later that I found out that my father had been forced to give up his hobby of photography, through selling his camera, in order to pay for that Scalextric set).
