Lady in the shop today, told me that each year she has new Christmas pyjamas. Christmas wouldn't be the same without them :-)

Made me wonder what are your non-food and drink Christmas traditions?

Its a Wonderful Life! That's a great tradition webbo.

We bought the film again last week as we only had it on video and the players gone now. We'll watch our DVD tomorrow night with yous!
Yep, agree on the Xmas PJ's.

Mini Boo gets to open a present each Christmas Eve, and its always PJ's and a dressing gown.
Just to be with my family

Well I've joined in with the sleep wear tradition and bought myself a new bedshirt thingy. Great tradition, I love it.

Enjoy the family ttfn and I hope you find those eels tamborine!
We don't have any really... I always watch The Nightmare Before Christmas on Christmas Eve but i'm going out tomorrow and will probably be too knackered/drunk to watch it when I get home!! Haha :-)
Couple of pints with son and son in law whilst waiting for the take away Chinese feast.

When I was young a neighbour would always call in on Christmas morning with a tin of sweets and joke that he was having a blackbird for his lunch. Us kids used to laugh like drains with him. He's long gone now but he was very mcuh part of our Christmas back then.
Normally one of us is ill, 2007 i had a stomach bug 2008 same again 2009 pregnant last year i had a broken finger and mini me was teething, this year mini me is full of cold and teeth again!
We watch the DVD of 'Father Christmas' (Raymond Brooks) and sing along with it, and then spend the following few days saying "blooming" all the time....:o)
Question Author
Never seen it Jack, I'll ask Father Christmas for it if you recommend it.

He still has time!
firewatch, If that's the way things work out , it's pregnant again next year !!
D'oh!
Raymond Briggs!

We've watched it every year since my son was small. And although his sweet little voice has now changed to more of a baritone, he can still (without very much arm-twisting) be persuaded to sing-a-long....:o)
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

LOL with Firewatch. With all these Christmas memories I think its time for a nice Christmas tradition in your house.

So what's it to be? You and mini-you baking gingerbread men tomorrow afternoon? Or gathering making some paper chains? Or writing to santa maybe.
we have done santa, although tomorrow night i plan to sit her down and sort a santa package, and put his key outside for him to get in (we have no chimney) with the reindeer food sprinkled on the grass. Then before my husband and i go to bed we are going to place a note with the key on the fire place to say thank you from santa-and he looks forward to his visit next year. im trying to start some traditions but my hubbys just not in the mood yet. We are cooking the gammon tomorrow afternoon and having a buffet tea so we can watch christmas tv. might let little one stay up later as well depending how tired and snuffly she is. I was going to make a ginger bread house, but my sister baked us a cake.
