If You Saw Someone Shoplifting, What Would You Do?

I don't really have an opinion on that matter.
Having said that, if I happen to see someone shoplifting, I would report it to someone all the same!
I would notify the stores security.
If I see someone taking an item, I'd alert another employee and then I'd try to approach the person.

Depends if it was a girl with a baby stealing baby milk or someone filling their boots with Spam lol

If depends. If it was a young Mum stealing a couple of tins baby food, I would probably turn away. But if it was two smartly dressed young people, stealing CDs from W H Smith, I would tell the Security guard as quickly as possible.

This is exactly what happened about 5 years ago, and I was called as a witness in the trial, and I have no regrets whatsoever. Nobody needs a CD that badly.

I shall probably be upbraided by some busybody here on AB for my stance but we all have to make some difficult decisions sometimes.
