A frosty but calm Tuesday. Never mind, only another 25 days to the winter solstice, then the days get longer. All we want then is for it to warm up again. :o}

Haven't looked outside yet, but the fire is dead and the heating doesn't come on till 7 am, and it's blooming chilly!

Nice mug of Yorkshire tea works wonders though!

Morning BT. The original early bird me! :o} I've been awake since 2.30. A mug of coffee at elbow now. We are promised some sunshine later. That'll be nice.

ok m8 thx back to work today last holiday day used up yesterday, hopefully should have full staff in now til xmas is over, its been manic at work lately

It pays the bills though mate. They still have to be paid when you retire. Shame innit!

me and Mrs cuddles don't do presents just a nice card each and that's it!

They need to learn to live within their means mate! I cannot understand how people on quite a high income need to use food banks. I think they spend it before they earn it. Living on credit is idiotic to me.

Got more shopping to do at Sainsburys at 8am, then meeting a friend at 10am for coffee., then home to do housework. I have my niece arriving tomorrow for a couple of days so need to do a bit of housework etc.
What are you up to today, apart from attacking a mountain of ironing?

After that not a lot! I've a bit of shoplifting to do first, but as all the shops I use are small local shops all the shopkeepers are friends, so it isn't quite so arduous as it might be. :o}

Morning all - still pitch black out there, haven't ventured out yet to sense the temperature.....Need some more logs - mate, who has all the gear to clear a national forest is coming over at lunch time and we'll walk the estate to see what there is down and also a thinning of one of the copses.
