Fancy Dress - Theme is London Underground

I have been invited to my friends 30th party in a couple of weeks, and she has decided to go for fancy dress (which i am already struggling with as I really don't do fancy dress!) anyway.. the theme is london underground stations.. I really have no idea what is meant by this and no other info has been supplied. (I said it might be a bit of a dodgy theme to go on, given recent events, but am sure it will be fine) I am now struggling big time for ideas... any ideas from you guys?

Great idea for a theme, although I take your point about the bombings...

I haven't thought it through that well, but examples could be:

Angel - go as an angel; Wimbledon - tennis outfit; Oxford Circus - somehow meld oxford and a circus (may have to re-think that one...); Paddington - P. Bear; Elephant and Castle - find someone else to be one, and you be the other etc.

High Barnet- fashion your hair into a massive beehive

C0ckfosters- strap some beer cans and a willy round your waist

Arsenal- wear the kit

Bank- stick loads of money to your person

Shepherds Bush- dress as a shepherd and stick lots of hair to your knickers

One of my my friends had an underground party last year - some of the costumes were:

barbican - one person dressed as barbie another as ken

ruislip - wear a slip with rice stuck on

cockfosters - drink fosters, act like a c**k

barking - wear a really mad outfit i.e barking mad

bond st - james bond

grange hill - scholl uniform

kew gardens - wear lots of flowery stuff

maida vale - wear a maids outfit & a veil
