I Hate Valentines Day.

Tomorrow as we all know is valentines day I am single and I hate it. Tomorrow I am watching 3 films with unhappy but realistic endings.
1. My Best Friends Wedding
2. Brief Encounter
3. The End Of The Affair
I am already feeling depressed and sorry for myself I hate being alone. But for now I will make my faithful loyal and wonderful friend my cat Ria my valentine. !! Anyone else hate valentines day.

I don't like it because I hate the thought of people being ripped off by the exorbitant price of flowers etc.

Just think of it as another very overblown commercial event. It used to be just a day to tell your secret crush who didn't know that you were attracted to them. Not for every couple to splash out on cards, roses, chocs and trashy teddy bears. You're really not missing much.

Why even think about it? I don't. I agree with Prudie. I don't send cards so I don't expect to receive any. Even when I was married we always seemed to have fallen out around this time of year ...lol.

I don't hate it, and the young ones have fun. But I don't need Mr.Sam to buy me overpriced flowers to know he loves me. He used to, years ago. I even remember making him take the 12 red roses back to the shop for a refund as they were half dead.

I don't hate it, it's just another day. There are memories of Valentine days of yore.but none that were were THAT memorable! Who remembers this valentine verse?
