A Christmas Present To Yourself?

No, never bought for myself, but love the hat. I'm jealous. Once did have a fedora together with a full beard, caught sight of myself in a shop window and I looked more Jewish than Rabbi Blue, so discarded it! Might try again though.

Thanks, Woofgang. My thought on looking at that link though wasn't 'posh', it was actually 'how ruddy annoying!'. I paid full price for my hat about a week ago but I now see that I could have saved myself 20% by waiting for their sale!

I spend many of my waking hours trying to type on my laptop from a standing position, due to a cat on my office chair. I can't use the comfy armchair in my bedroom because Moonbeam has declared it to be his own and I struggle to get to sleep at night because of Chequers and Tablo trying to snuggle up alongside me simultaneously!

I need some space for myself, even if it's only for my head ;-)

I like that hat! This year I did buy something for myself for the first time ever but i haven't wrapped it up. It's my mums birthday early jan so i might yet give it to her! Other than that i ALWAYS buy husband presents i want for myself!

I don't go as far as wrapping presents to myself, Bednobs. I've simply left the hat in the (unopened) box that it came in.

There's nothing wrong with buying your hubby present that you really want for yourself, as long as you don't complain about the socket set that he's bought you for Christmas ;-)
