Try FN with the F11 key together, assuming it's a windows laptop

Question Author

Is that FN on the keyboard and F11 on the key with the loudspeaker on it?

Forget that and just reboot. I was wrong in my previous post,

Question Author

barry1010,tried that mate but it's still the same but thank you for your help,if i can't get it back on i will ask our daughter next time she visits.

I was referring to the FN key on your keyboard.  Yours has a different Function Key layout to mine.  There should be one with an icon of two interlocking squares (representing screens).

Worth pressing the two together if you can see it

Question Author

Hi barry1010,the wife has rectified the problem, she says she clicked on something on the righthand side of the screen and dragged it down, once again thanks for your help.

Glad you're sorted 🙂

Sounds like the menu bar/dock had been stretched.
