Yes! everything is hotting up now for the wedding. Had a make up rehearsal on Saturday. Dresses are all ready. Invites out. Hen night is sorted. 10 weeks to go. I bet it only seems like yesterday you had your wedding. All the preperation and it goes so fast. Nice to hear from you. Sorry it's chat.

My step daughter is getting married on Thursday, Big posh do, my husband (brides father) has just gone rushing back to Debenhams with his trousers, he stopped smoking 6 weeks ago and put on a bit of weight, when he tried them on this morning they didnt fasten, hes panicking, plus his speech is still strewn about the house on bits of paper. You can never account for last minute hitches. Hope all goes well with you. Good Luckxx.

Only bit of advice I can give you is however well planned every wedding has a 'disaster', nightmare at the time but always seems funny looking back on it!
My friend dropped her lipstick down the skirt of her dress 10 minutes before leaving home I raided the garden for flowers, took her bouquet apart and remade it bigger to hide the mark, we always chuckle when we see the photo's now but it was awful at the time.

We have had a few minor blips already. Wrong bridesmaid dress delivered and wrong shade for the two little ones. Hoping nothing drastic happens on the day. The lipstick one must have been hell at the time.
My husband is on some whacky diet at the moment so I can see him having to get a smaller size before the wedding. As long as the groom turns up ( and I know he will) then hopefully we can laugh at any other mishaps.

My daughter's getting married on May 11th. The dress and theme is Ivory and Burgundy. The church is tiny so just 40 guest's but a huge knee's up in the night. Good luck to all bride and groom's:-))))

Yes Maggie and the day will seem like a dream.I am sure everything will be ok the only hitch we had was when the bridal car turned up it came early and not the driver as arranged he was on his way back from the airport and my daughter was panicking but he made it just in time .Enjoy your day.Would love to hear how your day went will look out for you .

to pussnboots I spent days helping my x husband to write the speech and what did he do muddled it all up but he got through it .it was short and sweet but it landed out as a story lol
