Hi all
I know Santa traditionally as St. Nicholas wore green and not red. But why did it change to red? I'm sure i've heard it was commercial reasons from christmas card makers-is this right ????
many thanks michelle

not exactly - the red-clad one just seems to have become more popular, but there was no special benefit to any card makers in this. The following website gives a bit of history whily denying that Coca-Cola had anything do with it!
