A game to play

can anyone give me ideas ( with instructions ) for a game to play with about 50 people at a party night - I fancy a murder mystery but there is no meal ( or proffesional actors ) no rooms to use ( only the one we're in ) I will run the game and every one has promised to join in oh and we will be in fancy dress ( mystical figures ) The game only need last one hour PLEASE HELP

Post it notes on forehead with famous person's name on. you can only find out who you are by asking other people questions. You could also make it a rule that you can only ask each person one question ( to make people mix). instead or post it notes you could use card and tuck into a stretchy head band . macinroe style. have spare names incase anyone guesses too soon.

i was watching market kitchen on tv the other day and they were on about a game. all the people at your party wear a tag on string around their neck, and the host has to choose one or two words that can not be said all evening ( yes or no - for instance), people engage in conversations with other people and if they use the words not allowed then the person has to give up their tag to the other person, the person with the most tags round their necks at the end of evening is the winner. you could change the words every hour to make it a bit more interesting. even kids can be involved in this if there are any at the party!!!!!!!!!

excellent thank you Lauraking72 this is exactly the kind of game I would like - I would definately be playing this. There are about 12 children and I know they will enjoy this - more info tho pls - what happens once they give up their tag / are they out? - perhaps they could have 3 tags each like lives - are they allowed to help - or hinder others ? anyone know what are most common words used in every day conversationfor me to use? OR am I just rambling - maybe I should just make it all up after all it would be my personallised game !! thank you again Lauraking72
