Merry Christmas from Wales!!
12 Answers
Hi to all my animal & nature-loving friends!! Just a wee note to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year. I haven't posted for a while, so I hope you're all OK. Not much news from the mountains, except that my first brambling arrived today and we've got starlings (3 of them!) - I know that for some of you they're quite a common sight, but up here they're pretty rare, so I was quite chuffed to see them. They are feeding from our bird station and singing (well, making noises!!) on the pylon by the stables. The cats, dogs and chickens are all well, although one of our bunnies died last week (he was ancient, so it was expected) and he was buried in the garden. Hope you all have a lovely time over Christmas - love to you all and your families and to all the animals as well!! K xxx

It is just me and the two feline thugs from hell tomorrow . I am off to Nottingham at the beginning of January and they are going to a Cat-hotel.
Best wishes to all the A&N ABers.

Happy Christmas Kleiber and to all your furries.
You can have some of our starlings if you want them. They are such funny birds though, the clowns of the feathery world.
We had a treecreeper bird on our appletree today. I'd never seen one before and had to look it up in our bird book. Isn't nature wonderful in its variety.

Nadolig Llawen to you all - Mischa had a great Christmas, playing with all the wrapping paper & boxes! The dogs had a nice Christmas dinner ( a day late) of giblets (after I'd used them for stock), pickings from the carcass and leftover veg.! I've made some lovely stock for soup from the goose carcass and tonight (if K. Jnr ever turns up - he's out in Llanelli with his girlfriend) we've got goose in yellow bean sauce and noodles. I really do hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Mine, I must admit, could've been better - maybe next year I'll escape somewhere!! K xx
