We need new lights this year. we have a 7 ft. artificial tree. I have seen in B&Q, 400 led lights but my husband thinks that this is too many.
Does anyone else think that 400 lights is too much for our tree? How many lights to others have?

You obviously cared to take the time to reply - have you nothing else to do?
400 is way too many. Less is more where Christmas decorations are concerned. Too much can be tacky.
go for it, it's christmas !
a 7ft tree is,obviously, 84 inches. That works out at just under 5 lights per inch, take into account the circumference of the tree and thats not enough. get two packs !

Thanks TTG and Vulcan for your replies. I think I SHALL put 400 lights on - what the hell, go for it.
As long as they are white then there is no such thing as too many - it will look very classy.
Hi lidlicker-I've just put up our brand new 7ft tree today and it's got 320 white lights on it. It's enough but another 80 would be great too-can't have too many lights at xmas!!
I think nothing looks better than a tree with nothing but lots of sparkly lights on it. Put them all on with no ornaments - pure class!
I have a 6' black artificial tree and have about 400 white lights on it........looks great.
