I have a very simple, tea length, sleeveless, black bridesmaid dress that I've worn already. It's that dressy silky material. What can I do to dress it down to wear to a wedding that I'm not in the wedding party? I dont want to look too dressy like I'm trying to look like I'm in the wedding party but if there's a way I can dress it down I dont want to have to buy another dress.

Once again this confirms my view that the Ed needs some guidance notes for spammers on how to add links.
Anyone near a report button?
Have you got a soft jacket? I'd keep the jewellery simple, no glitzy shoes.
Browneart - your profile indicates that you are a male, bet you looked lovely in that black bridesmaid dress. ;o)

Yep ;o)
thats a nice white jacket :)
Wearing black at a wedding is bad luck. Suggests one of the happy couple will soon die.
LOL, I 've never heard that one atalanta, I wear black all the time
Neither have I. I've worn black for weddings - and everyone's still alive and kicking.

not in the best of taste to wear either black or white to a wedding, anyway that's how it goes in Oz
