Would any of you ladies wear these hideous jeans? I think they look horrible and actually make the model look fatter than in the muffin top jeans. I haven't worn high waisted jeans since about 15 years ago. I just hide my muffin top under long tops these days.

No. They're ghastly.

Low riders are the only way to go.

That waist looks like something from the 70's

I'd wear them but it depends how high they are, as I have a low ribcage and they could dig in. It's a bit academic, I don't wear jeans these days.
I'd wear them if they looked better. I know some women collect fat on their hips even though they are not really overweight but they can avoid muffin tops buy wearing a bigger size.

There not for me I gave to say, they look like maternity wear. High waisters are apparently in the way back, but they can look an awful lot better than that.
They're hideous.
Reminds me of Simon Cowell.
To be fair ,they're not something all that new are they? Low slung and hipster jeans are relatively new,up til not that long ago, all jeans and trousers actually came up to and included covering up the waist!
High waisters?

Do you think?

So how are you supposed to do a whale tail?
I would wear them only if I was wearing a top long enough to cover the hideous waistband.
I've tried on Asda jeans before and they fit where they touch. I guess you get what you pay for.
Depends if they are comfy to wear. I wear M&S jeans described on the label "sits on the waist" which are great for me, I stopped wearing low ones on the hips years ago, although I dont have a muffin top, just a smaller waist and larger hips! I may try these on and see how they fit, sometimes clothes look better on than off, and I find the George brand seems to suit my figure (or lack of it!) LOL :)

I like M&S jeans for fit and they last too. I still wear lower waist ones but not as low as I did 5 years ago when I was a scrawny size 8.
what's "bumlifter technology" when it's at home??

I have been picturing some sort of sling that goes underneath the buttocks to hoist them up. lol
I could give lessons sloopy ...
...it must involve geeting onto a pillion seat I think ...
lol dave (gmail @wonkileaks later)

I was picturing something unpleasantly structural too daffy

Just had a "lift and separate" thought ... surely not !!??
Agree with Ummmm. Most people with muffin top are just in denial about what size they really are.

Those jeans are ugly and there aren't many people that can pull off the high wasted look well.
