LOST BETTING SLIP..... ARGH!!!!

I need help, though I might be a bit premature.

I put a bet on the 'Euro2012' football tournament at William Hill... They did this special sheet with all different combinations on it and I did £5.00 worth, and my final bet to make up the £5.00 was that Mario Balotelli would be top scorer and that Italy would win...!How silly was I and a waste of a pound!but hold on that might just happen.... but I can't find my copy of the bet, that they gave me, what can I do... I've no proof... do I have a hope?

Yes. You'll know when the bet was placed and on what day. You should get paid out. How much did you win?

Jbw1366, couldn't you ask the to consult their cctv as they would clearly have the image, date and time of you buying the winning ticket unless they state in the small print a clause that you have to physically hold the ticket for them to pay out

They'll just ask you to rewrite the bet in their lost tickets book

My mate put it on for me and he did one at the same time, and he has his and it has the date time etc, so he can collect... if Italy win of course.. Thanks everyone xx

i had the same problem when i had a treble that i thought was doomed so i threw it away.leeds were 3-1 down with ten mins to go and i had them in my treble,they won 4-3 i think.

anyway i went back to the bookies told them the time date etc and got paid out .
