Makes a change to hear positive news from professional footballers rather the stories of tax dodging! A man with a social conscience. Much respect for the man. Thankyou.

I believe that the sad death of his young wife recently has had a profound effect on him(as it would) and this sort of gesture gives him great comfort.

That is great. There are so many sports and film stars who could solve loads of problems with a fraction of their wealth.
