Mr Smow - well, I only have to casually say something like oh the toaster needs replacing as one side doesn’t work , and instead of waiting for us to choose a new one together there will be a knock on the door the next day and he will have gone on to Amazon Prime and ordered a new one the night before. No asking about what make, what style what colour!!
Same for everything -I said I was going to buy a new slow cooker, again one turns up nxt day. Not the one I wanted, not the make I wanted...........I know it’s a lovely problem to have but....lol

Grr... where do I start? When he’s nice he’s great, but he has a habit of ignoring me for up to five days if I slightly annoy him.

Also, he breathes very loudly. I’m not sure which is worse ;)

Thats not a lovely problem to have, its a controlling partner. If my OH did that I would just return the stuff and buy the one I wanted.

Smow I'd be most annoyed if he ordered stuff without me seeing it first, especially stuff like a toaster or slow cooker
I know it's a bit twee but I don't think anything he does really annoys me tbh

well my lovely friend who is now deceased, there were 11 in the family - including the mil. She would have done maybe 5 or 6 washes in the day so when they broke, she just screamed "Teddddddddddy". Then a new one would appear.

She said she couldn't care less what make, shape, or drum - as long as it washed those dreaded clothes, same for tumbler dryer. No she never complained about that. She made me laugh and you know what she was right.

He's got a great sense of humour, he's fantastic at DIY and quite visionary with it too, he's very loving and tactile but ... BUT ... he's got a quick temper and shoots his mouth off, he can't cope with stress and he likes everything his own way. He also has one rule for him and one rule for me when it comes to money.

Breathing loudly at night would be on my list too! And he's somewhat of a pedant. He sorts the kitchen cupboards out so that everything fits nice and neatly and I have to dig deep to find the things I use most frequently. But his workshop and so called garage is a complete nightmare. A bit like Steptoe's yard.

My OH is perfect in every way or so he keeps telling me lol! There is absolutely nothing he can't fix, and he's saved us £1000,s over the years fixing stuff -but doesn't know how to turn the washing machine on, create an Invoice, or do a Tax Return. He pays no bills has no idea how much is owed to him or how much he's earning - but never ever asks me 'how much was that' when I buy stuff so hey ho he's just about perfect lol!

Mine's the total opposite -I have to prise mouldy cheese ( it'll cut off) out of his hands for his bait. I think he must be immune to food poisoning lol!
