Nhs Log In Cancellation

I've received an email supposedly from the NHS saying that since I haven't used my NHS log-in account for two years they're going to cancel it in 30 days.  I actually used it earlier this year.

My husband has received a similar email but he has never had an NHS log-in account.

We are both invited to keep the account active by clicking on a link.

I think this is a scam but just wondered if anyone else has received anything like this?

Safest thing is log in in your normal way, look for a contact us and let them know.

I had the very same thing. Closed it down and went direct to the NHS website and logged in, nothing there mentioned cancellation but who knows these days.

Better not to click links if there's any doubt I think.

I will, Rowan.

Not seen this one myself and I do have an NHS login. Sounds like a scam for sure.

I bet the scam link is easier to access than the genuine one. Not user friendly or intuitive. Anyone tried sorting out "electronic prescription" set up. Mare.

I had the same e-mail and clicked on the sender details which showed [email protected]

I use the NHS app without any problems Togo. You can see your entire medical records.

My EPS is with boots and you don't need NHS log in for it.

How do you order your repeat prescriptions, bednobs?

via boots.  You can set up a log in OR log in with NHS

Sure sounds like a scam.

In any case isn't it in the NHS's interest that all legally here have such communication with them via the Net.  They'd be in a bad way if desperate to chuck folk off.

I only use my NHS log-in the book blood tests.

Is it maybe something to do with COVID reporting?

Once it is set up Maydup it has its uses and looks like it is going to be a necessecity in future. My point is that finding the online script log in is not at all a direct procedure. I had a profile already set up but unused since I had my ops etc. When the local quack went "Electronic" for scripts they issued leaflets and shooed patients out of the building. The actual site address was not on it but there was a crappy qr code to scan that led down the wormhole.(In 2 languages) I had reason to visit the doctors this week(non urgent) and outside waiting for collection were boxes of said leaflets all bound for the pretend recycling system. When I did find the relevent web address I had no probs setting up the order. The address needed but not given was the one below. If you think that Westminster makes things difficult I can assure you that they are amateurs compared to Cardiff. 🤣
