I recently aquired a very nice "Valentino" bag how can I tell if it's genuine

Probably by how much you paid for it and where you got it from!!!

well have you had a look on the valentino website? otherwise search valentino bags on ebay, occasionally when you search for designer items, the site gives links to reviews telling you how to find out if it's a fake or not.
