Passing Out Parade outfit? HeLp??

Hiya, I'm going to a friend's army passing out parade on 20th April but haven't a clue what to wear. I've heard it's a formal event, but I'm only 18 and don't wan't to look granny-ish. Will a nice summer dress and heels be ok or shall I go for a skirt suit or something!?!

Hi

I have been to an army passing out parade and what i did was dress smart but make it also look fashionble.

Maybe wear a shift dress? Or some black or white jeans which are smarter when dressed right than plain jeans, but more cool than trousers.

yeah i would recommend a shift dress also or mayb a wrap around n in river island at the mo they gat sum fab peep toes or wedges which will look nice but not too formal
