Possible Stag Party Barney!!
11 Answers
I was at a wedding and my friends parents who are terribly up themselves spoke to me and were rather rude as they have been on numerous occassions, looking down their nose at me. They then spoke to another friend of mine who was with his girlfriend of 3 years and the wife said "Hello how long have you managed to keep this one for?" followed by "stayed faithful this time have you?" all in front of his girlfreind!!! Later in the evening i was slagging them off and they heard me. I now think my mate is angry at me cos they obviously told him i was calling them this that and the other. Not heard from him since. Anyways, i've got a stag do to go to and he'll be there no doubt expecting an apology. I dont think i should apologise for people with no manners acting the way they did. Yes my timing was unfortunate for them to hear me but if you act like that then what do you expect back?? Do you think i'm right to stand my ground???

Hi!
I wouldn't stand your ground at the stag do as that night is about the groom to be and he isn't going to be chuffed if 2 of his friends start arguing.
I would explain to your friend that it isn't the time or place to discuss it. If he insists I would simply say that they were rude to you and that because you were upset mixed with alcohol you were venting your anger to others and they over heard.
You need to be the bigger man and try to defuse the situation at all costs and talk about it at a later date.
Careful whose listening next time! ;o)
