help with sling back sandals
2 Answers
Decided to risk a pair of strappy sandals for a wedding we're going to, I usually wear flats!
They're not too high, diamante strap across the front and then strap round the heel but I do about 4 steps and the heel strap falls down and there's not enough on the front to hold them on.
How can I stop the strap around the back of my heel from falling down? It's elasticated so should be snug and when I'm stood they feel great until I start to walk. Does this usually happen with these type of shoes?

As you walk, the back of your foot naturally rises. Ah elasticated back then holds tight on to a lower part of your heel. When you put your foot down again, it pushes the strap down.
You have to treat the back as decorative, and make sure you press the flat of your heel into the middle of the shoe, above the heel of the shoe.
There's no easy solution, but ... I adore strappy sandals.
