Just been to Tesco to find a mum and daughter walking round there in their PJs.I remembered reading that Tesco are thinking of banning pyjamas.Personaly,I would.Lets face it,these women can be bothered to do their hair and make up,but dont put on normal clothes. They just look lazy, not cool.
Maybe a mad dash just before they close and say,you have been working, then thats understandable, but most of them are made up to the nines.I wonder do they have seperate going out pyjamas or the same ones they slept in(eugh)
Thoughts anyone??

i personally think its ridiculous for someone to go to the supermarket dressed this way. i remember seeing it in a supermarket in liverpool, i was gobsmacked! i think it should be banned!
well i have wore mine to tesco ,although it was during the night ,i do not think there is anything wrong with it then ,i wouldn't do it where i used to live but where i am now need to fit in somehow lol

sounds like you live by me cherrychapstick!
a dinae ken but if it's near stirling where all the chavs live then yeah lol sorry about that starting to talk like my daughter who has decided it's better to talk like that to fit in :)
i can't see what the fuss is about, personally i don't give a **** what other people are wearing to the supermarket.
Why would people be wearing pj's at 3pm, most people have a shower or bath and
get dressed , I think it's a wierd thing to wear night wear all day ...
i'm in pjs, although i don't wear them to bed and i've had a shower and changed into them, i'm having a mong day i have no intention of braving the cold and they're comfy and perfect for monging
forgot to say that our Tesco make motorbikers remove their
crash helmets and men have to wear a top in the summer , so no
1/2 naked blokes ( hairy chests yukkkk)

I just think its lazy though.Even if you dont shower, just to go the shop you at least change your clothes.
It must of been cold in the snow though.
I thought most people got up and got changed, its the full hair and make up that make me think they are trying to make a statement.Dunno what that is exactly
-- answer removed --
so what if its lazy or making a statement, they're covered up and not flashing anyone so what's the big deal

if i had to go to the shops for emergency chocolate supplies then i would change but that's becasue its really cold
they probably just like getting noticed
i go to the shops in my Pj`s a lot.seriously i do and always bump into folk i don't need to see. when i had my car i used to do my supermarket shop after midnight in pj`s hubby used to have the kids

Now I think of the school run.
I suppose in a car,with a long coat it is early ;-)
I shower then put on jammies for comfort -they look like a TShirt and a pair of jogging bottoms so I cant see what the fuss is about.Just bung a pair of uggs on and youre sorted.
Wouldnt faze me if anyone chose to go out to the shops like that -anyway its way better than some big ginormous fat turd with half her belly hanging out between her vest top and her jeans.

I think though the power of the media some have jumped on a bandwagon of tutting when really if it hadnt been highlighted you wouldnt have noticed a thing.
it was so much easier with out the kids i could be in and home in one hour when you have to take toddlers supermarket shopping it takes twice as long.yes i did have a coat over the top.
Bit old fashioned me -- thankfully.I don't see any reason for shoppers to be in their pyjamas.Have only seen a few in this area and they certainly have not been well made up.Some look as tho they have just got out of bed , into the car and Tescos
, or wherever.
And I don't buy either that people are so so busy that they do not have time to dress.I think it is total laziness and lack of personal pride and standards.Sorry to those Abers who do wear their PJ's for shopping and as they say "whatever floats your boat" Just my personal view.
I have done the school run, in the car with a coat on and taken the dog out for a quick pee at odd hours wearing my jammies - but I draw the line at the supermarket. Even when I lived right next to one and I'd just had a baby, if I had to nip out for something then I made sure I was dressed.
Aya has a point, though.
The lazy s0ds can't be bothered to get changed...
Even worse, wearing pajamas just isn't normal!
They may have something wrong with them.
In that case, someone crazy shouldn'e be allowed in a sophisticated place like Tesco...
That's why I don't shop there LOL...
just saw a mum and her son getting in a car both with pyjamas on don't know were they were going, but at least the lassie in the tesco debate looked as if she had washed hers!

See you got your name changed bbbe99 did you have to reregister?
