right, we're away on hols soon, staying in a beautiful villa owned by my bestie friend's parents. they're not charging me anything, bless them, and I'd like to buy them a gift to say thank you.
I am broke, but feel that I should be spending about £50 and I don't know what to get them. they are a young mid-60's couple, and have no idea what their taste is.
weee..just leave an advice like boilled some eggs then make sandwitchy and glass of vodkaka then some music on waka waka by :shakira its good for exercise ...
why not take a token gift of wine and flowers when you collect the keys sara, and then buy a lovely local wall plaque or planter for their garden over there, and leave it as a surprise for the next time they go over there!......
What about getting wine vouchers and then they can get what they want. It can go wrong because someone keeps buying me an oaked Chardonnay and I hate it. I should have said something when he first bought but was too polite and now I am stuck with 3 bottles of it.
i am in the middle of glazzy day....phew...let me try and leave if can't be...(mattheus rose wine with flowers )please.....better for the 60's..and even 30's

Gromit, it was fab! soooooooo hot (not complaining, but praise the Lord for aircon.. or whoever invented it!) but we had a really relaxing break. the square looked lovely. I couldn't believe that everyone we spoke to had been there before.. it definitely keeps people coming back for more.
we saw turtles that were about 4' long from the riverside restaurant on Weds night, absolutely amazing! made our holiday.
I'm jealous that you're going :o)
