Gift Idea For 2 Woman As A Thankyou Present ....ideas Please

2 woman who have helped through very bad times,
i want buy a gift for them ,
holiday or gift voucher
they can travel together
up to £1000
i was thinking holiday ,

so, any ideas ? getaways for twom woman for a week somewhere nice all inc ?
nice gift voucher to spend on a house ?

I wouldn't even dream of spending so much money on a gift without asking the recipients for ideas. There is nothing worse than being given a valuable gift for something you don't like.

Do you know if they have any work commitments, valid passports, like each enough to go away together?

I would love someone buying a holiday for me but you have to be sure about what they like.

A few days at a pampering spa - facials, massage, manicure - luxuries like that. If only they'd include me in..... :)

I think £1000 is a lot to spend, but of course it is your choice and you know your own financial position.
However cleshade (excuse spelling) it really is the thought that counts and if you were to by a piece of jewellery it is something they can remember you by forever. You should be able to explain to jeweller it is a gift and arrange an exchange if your chosen pieces are not suitable.

Mostly, because of work, I rarely wear jewellery, and many are also allergic to different things. I would appreciate it greatly at the time, and leave it in a drawer forever...
Better to go for some kind of experience you know they will actually enjoy.

I would never ask what someone wants as a gift. Personally I would put a cheque inside a nice card, telling them how much you have valued all they have done and hoping that they will use the gift to treat themselves to something that will bring them enjoyment.

Quote agree with NellieMay at 15.11. For instance I would never go to a Pampering Spa - would absolutely hate it and maybe would not want to go on holiday with someone, even if they were a good friend.

Best suggestion so far from NellieMay. They will know you appreciate what they did for you and they can treat themselves in exactly the way they like best (even paying off a debt, if they have one).
