Good Morning Late Birds!
Thought I'd try leaving it late as barely a soul comments when I post early, despite my dest efforts lol. (Apart from the rock solid regulars - you know who you are x)
Took some great pics on my mobile lastnight of the full moon - was so so clear and bright! Could have looked at it for ages...
Beautiful blue skies and sunshine here at the moment - will be lovely if it stays like this all day. Today is my daughters birthday so will ring her and hopefully her card/present has arrived in time. So hard buying for adult children isn't it - I loathe giving just money but sometimes it's just what they want/need.Hope we all have a good day x

I get mine to send me an Amazon wish list, at least I know then that it's something they actually want. No surprises for them, but better than being surprised by a totally unwanted gift I feel.
Lovely morning here, but only 9C at the moment.
Have a good day readers :)
barry - I feel your pain. My night was the opposite, I didn't go to sleep at all till about 5.30am this morning and then awake after a couple of hours. Feel like I've done a full night shift somewhere!
Morning ferlew - yep birthdays and Xmas drive me mad with presents lol. In reverse tho, if I get one more Moonpig birthday card with accompanying gift I will scream lol! It's my birthday nxt week and not one of mine will actually buy and write out a card, which is all I secretly want. They will all log onto Moonpig, order said card and then choose a gift to go with it(or not). So I will get the usual candles, bath bombs, chocolates, or singular wine glasses lol : )
Morning all. Its a bright blue sky here, a lovely autumn day before the leaves start to turn in earnest. Happy Birthday to Smowgirl.
I have no daughters or sisters so its just men in my family, and I seem to run out of ideas for gifts, so have to end up with giving money. I feel guilty about that as I think its lacking in thought and imagination, but better I suppose than giving unwanted presents.
Hope you get a nap Barry, feeling tired but unable to sleep is a bummer. Do we have an insomniacs club? I bet it would have a few members.
Sorry for the late reply Smow, I thought I had typed something earlier but must of got distracted and didnt press the send button
Hi Rosetta. I do hate giving money, but it's also Youngsmows birthday this week too(on Thursday) and hubby said what with him and his gf just taking on a flat, new baby etc, he mite like the actual cash to treat himself to something, so I'm going to write him out a 'voucher' with a little message etc, and put it in his card, then actually transfer him the money via BACS rather than posting it, then I'll send him a chocolate hamper which everyone loves. I just go to any supermarket, or Poundland etc... and buy a selection of choccy bars & make up a little box lol.
