Thank goodness I have two largist mats in the dining room door at the dining room.  he does pee there but I never catch him in the act.   these mats are washable Thank God

Like I don't like it and I don't want it to go on forever as I am sick washing  the mats

I never see Mr maxie pee on them but I nearly have to wash the match every day as I don't want the pee to be on laminate floor perhaps the laminate

Is there anything I can buy to prevent this - like I have to wash the mats every week.  thanks for any help

I do put dog's nappies under the nappies but they still get wet too.

Have you tried puppy pee pads? They have a plastic back.

Simple washing won't remove the odour of urine for Maxie.  (Remember that his sense of smell is at least 10,000 times more sensitive than yours is).  It's that smell which makes him think that the mat is an appropriate place to pee.  You need to use a specialist cleaning product, such as

Otherwise, see here:

Have you had him checked for a UTI?

Is he getting enough exercise?

How long has this been going on?
