I'm having people over for an important lunch next week. Where could I get something Cath Kidston(ish) but for a little bit cheaper? Or, any other suggestions. I was thinking of getting say 6 plain plates and 6 patterned shallow bowls - or other way around- plain bowls with patterned plates. What would you get to impress? Needs to show I have impeccable taste! Any ideas? Doesn't have to be like Kidston if you can think of anything else???
Thanks!

If ur near a TK Maxx they have some funky things with Kath Kidston type designs.

Last year I bought some plain/patterned mix n match stuff from Ikea in various shades of beige/brown/ cream

have you thought about plain white - M&S have some cheap stuff which looks classy. Plain white doesn't date and you could sey it off with jazzy napkins and bright flowers, or play it down with neutral colours
