i haven't got a clue what to buy my 8 year old girl for xmas she doesn't know what she wants please can you help

if she is quite creative how about getting a bead set or something so she can make her own jewellery? i always loved things like this when i was younger. anything that i could make myself would keep me occupied for days even weeks! i had a candle making kit, bead set, jigsaw puzzles, colouring books and pens/crayons/pencils and one of my favourites was a model casting kit of mr men and little miss figures. you basically make up a mix of plaster (all ingredients supplied) and pour it into the mould. let it set, and then paint it with teh paints supplied. i had mine models for years!

thanks. but unfortunatly she has all this stuff and doesn't use it. i've bought books as she is into reading but nothing else really. i've got 2 other girls and never had this problem

My niece is 10 and has made a most wanted present list: a pair of jeans, shoes, Friends DVD's and the McFly album. She also asked if I would take her shopping to Primark so she could buy lots of things for the �40 my mum and I are spending on her between us.

She loves going to the cinema too so DVD's are good for most kids. Shrek 2 is a good film.

If you want to spend more, what about a Nintendo DS, you can get her one with a pet dog game or learning packages - they are just over �100 I think

I have a 9 year old and she and all her friends are after Nintendo DS ( games for this as well) Princess Max DVD, Brazts Diamonds and High School Musical and the CD of same. Also some stuff called Floam Nice undies and bits of children's make up. I have also got her some board games. perhaps she could play these with her sisters.
