Not sure if they will be able to help or not, but it is worth a try.

This is the closest I could find - are you sure that a comic would have come out on that day?

13th July, 1957 was a Saturday. To the best of my knowledge, no comics were published on a Saturday. (I was born in 1953, so I'm really stretching my memory here. I might be wrong but my recollection of waiting for my favourite comics to drop through our letterbox doesn't include weekends).
The best 'printed ephemera' shop in the country is run by a guy called Ken Graham, in Newport Pagnell. The website isn't particularly helpful but it does give you his contact details:
http://www.kens.co.uk/
(Unlike the website, Ken is extremely helpful. If it's possible to get hold of a suitable comic, he should be able to do it).
