The 1st Kirkbymoorside Scout Group (Charity No 700005) have a new quiz available called 'Barking up the wrong tree?' As the name suggests, the theme is Trees and all of the answers included the name of a type of tree. The quiz expires on 3rd September 2009.

Examples:
Actress who has turned her hand to baking (4,5) = Jane ASHer or Their handbags are lovely but expensive (8) = MULBERRY.

The quiz costs 1 and the prize is a 15 gift voucher that can be accepted at many high street shops.

If you would like a quiz, please send a cheque for 1, made payable to 1st Kirkbymoorside Scout Group (please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you would like the answers) to:
The Treasurer (QUIZ), The Lodge, East Newton Hall Farm, Oswaldkirk, YORK, North Yorkshire, YO62 5YE.

Please check the thickness of envelopes when sending for quizzes. We had quite a few last year that we had to pay the post office a surplus as the thickness of the envelopes was classed as a large letter with a s.a.e enclosed.

Our group runs at a loss without the fundraising efforts and so your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Yes, I would be happy to do that. We tried this for the first time with our last quiz and had a huge response. However, we were a bit disappointed that not everyone who we emailed sent the 1. Please email your details to [email protected] and I will forward the quiz on.
Thank you for your interest.
